I'M NOT A GIRL, NOT YET A WOMAN

I'm not a girl, not yet a woman. This statement doesn't mean that i'm still a teenager. I'm actually an adult, a 30-yr-old grown up person. I have everything that a woman should have. I can cook, i can sew, i can take care of babies/kids, i also have great job, etc. But there's only one thing missing in my life.... i'm still not married! *smile*... That's what i meant by "i'm not a girl, not yet a woman". I'm not a young girl anymore, but my life as a woman is not complete yet. I'm stucked in the middle. (Err... should i smile again? Hehe!)

Lots of people, especially in Asian countries where i belong, not quite like this status. Most Asian parents want their daughters to get married as soon as they achieve the "level of maturity" as the qualified woman-to-get-married. The sooner the better. So, should i feel embarrassed with my status? The fact is... i'm not! I don't have problems with this actually.*smile*.. But, this doesn't mean that i don't want to get married and have a family of my own, i juz don't know how to explain when people asked me about this matter. I have my own reason for this.

Some people are prejudiced about my status. I don't see what are their problems with this. Being unmarried doesn't mean that you're really single. In fact, i have a boyfriend who really cares about me. We've been together for about 5 years. I know he loves me. We love each other. We did had a discussion about our marriage, of course. It's juz the matter of "not now" cuz we have some problems with our relationship. The family problem, because we're from different race, different culture, different religion. Quite interesting isn't it? hehe.. Well, this is what i think.. My love life is quite interesting for me. I like mix marriage. I think it is unique. Two persons from different world joining together in a relationship, sharing their lives in a marriage, beautiful kids... It is challenging, but fun...!

Until now i still cannot give the exact date of my Big Day if people asked.. But the most important thing for me is.....me & my boyfriend already discussed it, and we know when is the correct time to declare it.  :)
